[You want to add a feature, and that takes some code.
Proper name conversion. Not entirely trivial.
I only want to fix a bug - avoid this broken name mangling.
That is a 1-bit change to the code, completely trivial.
That change in no way prevents you to add the feature later.
In the end both parts will be needed.
But never mind - I'll come back in a few months to see whether
there is progress.]
