Follow-up Comment #1, bug #46806 (project wget):
It looks like current trunk (since commit
59b920874daa565a1323ffa1e756e80493190686) is not affected, but only when
compiled with iconv support (it is by default on recent systems.
When "HAVE_ICONV" is removed from "config.status" before compilation it still
crashes.
