[Bug-wget] Anyone working on buf #54769

Hello,

I am a CS senior student. I want to contribute to the GNU Project. I
found out Gnu wget is a good project to start. I took a look at the
bugtracker and found I and a friend are able to fix the bug #54769
(Disable automatic headers).

I would like to know  if someone did some research before or
consequently already fixed it. Otherwise I would like to start working
on it and this is to let it know everyone.

I appreciate any help!
