Suggestion on implementing wget in Rust language

Hello everyone;

I'm not sure if I'm doing the right thing asking here but anyway,

I'm a high school student and a newbie in rust (and programming and 
programming in general) and wanted to start implementing wget in rust as 
to strengthen my knowledge on rust and as to have my first project.

So as I have no experience and no prior knowledge (just some basic rust) 
I wanted your suggestions on where to start, and maybe some guidance.
