Subject: [Bug-XBoard] Make and documentation is wrong

The packages and README files are wrong. The directions say ./configure 
first and then make but there is no makefile and if you rename either of 
the makefiles you get a message  

Makefile:5: *** missing separator.  Stop.

and the compile stops. Unusable as is.
