hi,

 xnee used to be the name of the program when there was only one
(program). Since then, pnee and gnee have been added. So we ended up
renaming xnee. Nowadays the entire project is called Xnee.

 Perhaps adding links like this:

     xnee      ->  cnee
     xnee-cli  ->  cnee
     xnee-gui  ->  gnee

/hesa

Hi James,

Xnee is a library. Cnee is the application/executable. You should be able to
find your libxne***.so in the lib folder in your installation directory.

Cheers,
David.

Hello -

I downloaded the xnee 3.02 code to my Intel based Debian platform. I had
problems during configuration related to gnee and pnee so I configured w/o
gnee, pnee and documentation as directed in the README:

./configure -disable-gui -disable-doc -disable-gnome-applet

I then did a make and make install successfully. I am able to execute cnee
but it appears there was no xnee executable created. Any clue?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.
JB
