[Bug-xnee] xnee-3.06 and Fedora 13

I built xnee-3.06 on Fedora 13 but it doesn't seem to work.
It will play files, but it does not record anything.
I have attached the results of
  cnee --verbose --record --mouse --keyboard -data-to-record 0 -o sysinfo.txt > cnee.log 2>&1
and the results of make xcheck (it fails with Test of function 'feedback()' failed  (test_feedback.c:52))
  make xcheck > makexcheck.log 2>&1
I have also attached the results of an attempt to record with
  cnee --verbose --record --mouse --keyboard -o sysinfo2.txt > cnee2.log 2>&1
It loops with
  --- xnee_record_async() loop
and my debug code shows
  xnee_check_key, no data, xd->grab 8f68e80 or xd->grab_keys->grab 0 is NULL
My /var/log/Xorg.0.log file shows that I have
  X.Org X Server 1.8.2
  Release Date: 2010-07-01
with the RECORD and XTEST extensions.
Can you tell me if I am doing something wrong, or if something is wrong with my X server, or if I can send more information?
