[Chicken-hackers] [PATCH] Fix for #944

Hi all,

Here's the patch I attached to #944.  I think we all agree that Chicken
with this patch behaves better than without.  Even if it isn't fully
hygienic at least it doesn't fail to compile Andy's example program.
