It's worth noting that srfi-18, mailbox and gochan operate within a single OS process. Green threads <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Green_thread> they are called. Forking a process is a very different beast to tame.

There is really just this one egg for threading. The version number
you should ignore - the code is in production use for ages.
