Hmm, to make things easier for people publishing files it would be nice to
have a url with fallback to http. Kind of hard to convince your web
hosting company to install a daemon i expect. Hackish solution:
http://mysite.org/mybigfile.iso?circle-file=abcdef1234567
or
http://mysite.org/mybigfile.iso#circle-file-abcdef1234567
Web server will ignore the extra bit, this would be especially nice for
images. Or the other way around, which would require a normal link and a
circle link (good advertising i guess):
circle-file:lsdkjflksdjfklsajdflkjsda/http://mysite.org/mybigfile.iso
