[cjk] fonts with wide code-point coverage (Re: Installation Cyberbit as PostScript font failed)

Actually if you simply scroll down the front page of  http://ctext.org/ , it 
has a section on 'fonts and compatibility', and they recommend hanazono, 
http://fonts.jp/hanazono/  . That seems to be quite actively maintained with a 
release a year ago. (cyberbit hasn't been updated for since 1998!).
