I also wrote my fair share of widgets, just about all of them blindly cast 
for the plain and simple reason that the widget would be useless without 
the 2D extentions anyway. (so; </aol> on Davids post :)

From what I've seen I'm pretty sure that thats correct for about 95% of the 
cases where people are blindly casting.
