Summary:  UndoableEditSupport.beginUpdate not nestable

Original Submission:  In constrast to Sun J2SE 1.4.1_01, the GNU
Classpath implementation of javax.swing.undo does not allow calls to
UndoableEditSupport.beginUpdate, unless endUpdate has been called.
However, we should support arbitrary undo levels.
