Details:

While it is possible to use CORBA without this compiler, it makes the CORBA
programming much easier. The IDL compiler and the CORBA implementation must
be fitted together. Find and adapt a suitable (free software, 100 % java) IDL
compiler or try to write our own. Currently we use Suns 1.3 idlj that
generates suitable code without using POA.
