      from  d4b38e8   blocks: remove slider from tag variable example
       new  08db51a   qtgui: fixes the need to use memory to store the range 
values. Now uses linear mapping functions. The counter box now also waits for 
an enter or defocus.
       new  d8ffe56   qtgui: no longer have a need for numpy library
