Windows 98 with GRUB |

Hello!
(First: it can be that I send this message secondly. My internet connection
is a bit slow, and I send this message before I got the confirmation-mail:-) )
I use GRUB for a long time, but now I have a bit problem. I have an old
notebook with a 20GB hraddisk. So I can use it with a diskmanager software,
that can I only install in the MBR. I have Windows 2000 (in an ntfs, first
primary partition) and Windows 98 (in a fat32, second primary partition)
installed on the disk.
The problem is: I grabbed the boot sector of the windows 98-partition and
tryed to put GRUB's stage1 in it. This went ok. But when I try to start
Win98 with "chainloader (hd0,1)/boot/grub/win98" it can start it, but
suddenly hang up with this error-message: "You must specify the path for
command.com" (I think this error-message is produced by the win98 boot
code). The stage2, menu.lst, win98 are on (hd0,1)/boot/grub.
The Windows 2000 is OK, with "root (hd0,0)", and "chainloader +1".
I tryed to hide the win2000's partition for win98, or install win98 to the
first primary partition but the result was the same.
The GRUB version is 0.5.96. (in the attachement is the configuration file
for GRUB)
If somebody has a good idea, or is there anything wrong what I do?
Please help:-)
A lot of thanx for your help!
