configure unable to guess system type

From: Chris Mathes
Subject: configure unable to guess system type

Hi,

I'm trying to configure mpir-2.6.0 in cygwin64 on a 64-bit windows 7 machine, and getting "checking build system type... config/config.guess: unable to guess system type". I downloaded the latest config.guess and config.sub files from the git repository, but no joy. Below is what configure reports to me.

Thanks,

Chris
