I guess the source code could stick there, under certain circumstances,
however it’s still overhead (more than one mailing list, which could be
shrunk down of course though, and web-based forum/tracker/etc. stuff,
which is just… annoying to Lynx users).

But maybe you can help me out with a few questions in the meanwhile.

I’m trying to recover my account (mirabilos) so I can actually log in,
but I have no idea where it’s sending the recover information to.

http://savannah.nongnu.org/cvs/?group=cvs says “Getting a Copy of the
CVS Repository” but only contains instructions on how to get a checkout
(working copy), not an actual copy of the repository. Can I use rsync
over ssh, after recovering my account, to get the actual repository,
over authenticated and secure transport? If so, how, and why is that
not documented? If not, Savannah fails at code hosting.

Thanks,

No, the only way I've seen them sold is for $40 with a free OpenBSD CD.
