Hi,
On the DataExplorer homepage http://www.nongnu.org/dataexplorer/index.html
there is a button with the text "PayPal - The safer, easier way
to pay online!". This is an advertisement, which is not allowed on Savannah
[1]. Worse: Next to it, in the JavaScript code of the page, there is
<img alt="" border="0"
src="https://www.paypalobjects.com/de_DE/i/scr/pixel.gif" width="1" height="1">
These means that each time a user visits this page, an HTTPS request is
made to paypalobjects.com. That is, your page lets PayPal spy on all of
its viewers.
To me, that is unacceptable and not compatible with the ethics of a
community.
Bruno
