Problem running ddd

When I type ddd at the command prompt I am getting the following error:

ddd: error in loading shared libraries: libXm.so.1: cannot open shared
object file: No such file or directory

I have my path to find the file in /opt/Motif12 directory and the file
exists and has the proper permissions.

any suggestions?
