error in starting ddd with gdb for Fortran code |

I am attempting to debug a FORTRAN 77 code on a Sun Ultra60 running Solaris
8 with ddd and gdb. I successfully compiled the code with g77 with the -g
option included, but when I start ddd I get the following error message:
/libf2c/libF77/main.c: No such file or directory
Is there a problem with my gcc installation (I've installed gcc-2.95.2) or
am I using the worng compiler options? I've done an exhaustive search of
file structure and I cannot find any directory named "libf2c." Will
reinstalling gcc fix the problem? Help!
