ddd bad performance

I use redhat 7.3. The application to debug  is accessed through NFS. The size is about 150M.
 
It takes  gdb(v6.0)  only 75s to load the application.
But it's strange, ddd(v3.3.8) need 4m to load it.

What's the problem?
