gfortran fixes crashing problem on printing formal argument arrays

I've complained about this problem here and elsewhere previously in
connection with g77.  Now if I only knew how to display (not print,
printing works fine) all or part of an array, I'd find ddd perfect.  (It
will display all of an array that is not a formal argument, but I
frequently just want part of the array, and I don't know how to get any
display on dummy array arguments.)  Thanks,
