ddd with dbx on AIX 5.3

Hi all.
I have a problem running ddd with dbx.
I configure and compile it without problems but when i run make check (./ddd --dbx cxxtest) the gui hangs on: Searching "vsllib/ddd.vsl" ... "./../vsllib/ddd.vsl".

If i try to click on the Rerun button, it hangs on "Rerun: waiting until DBX gets ready"
I find other discussions on this but no solutions.

I have AIX 5.3 and ddd 3.3.12.
