MacOS bug

Hello,

I was trying to see if DDD still works as it appears that the code has not been updated in quite a while. Anyway I used homebrew to install it on my Intel based MacBook Pro running Monterey (10.12).

It seemed to install OK, but when I tried to start ddd it creashed and told me to report the bug:

% ddd
