  I can do that as soon as I test it against another patch to the same line...
That line was recently modified to be:
regsub -all "(^|\[\r\n\]|\r\n)\\*\\*\\* EXIT code 
\[^\r\n\]*(\[\r\n\]\[\r\n\]?|$)" $output "" output;

And I need to see if your patch needs to be merged into the same line, or which
patch is the correct one. I think your patch does the same basic thing.
