Hello,
For the demexp code, I'm currently considering the inclusion of Gerd
Stolpmann RPC package.
Until now, I had the following policy: if the package is available as a
debian package, then include a dependency on it in the README, otherwise
include relevant sources in demexp sources and compile them
automatically.
For future version of demexp, I intend to use full RPC package (and not
a part of it as in current sources). However, compiling RPC requires its
own dependencies (findlib, equeue). And I fear that using findlib would
add its own difficulties. So I wonder if it would not be simpler to
require a dependency on an external RPC package.
What do you think of it as potential users of demexp sources?
Yours,
d.
