Hello,
I plan to make soon an official release for 0.8. In fact, it will
probably be the current dev version without much modification. It is too
long since I have released a stable version.
However:
* This version will be hard to compile on recent software (ocaml,
camomile, ...). Thomas, you should not have any issue to compile it
for Sarge but it should be much harder for Etch. Don't try too hard,
as I can't currently afford doing the development and tests on this
platform;
* A lot of little things annoy me in current release: lack of simple
way to find and configure a server, bad UI, issues to make
translation work or even have complete translation (we recently
noticed with Fred that menus are not completely translated),
etc. This release is not up to the standard I would have but it won't
probably never be.
Overall, I think I should release more often. So 0.8 will probably be a
stable-with-a-lot-of-woes.
The release might be ready at the end of next weekend.
Best wishes,
d.
