Uhm. Maybe I was a bit to harsh here. Actually the question was not
related to Guile's performance on numbers. I just wondered why the whole
system (Serveez+Guile) does not run as expected. Anyway, now it seems we
found the reason for that. And I am really pleased with Guile's
performance, especially with the cute iteration procedure for the
Mandelbrot (I like the complex numbers in Guile).
