I had this problem too. Gr-modtool uses the ‘click’ package - and it seems that
the mac ports install of 3.8.1 does not install this dependency. I solved the
problem by installing py37-click and py37-click-plugins with mac ports. I can’t
recall if one is a dependency of the other but you need both I think.
