Hello,
My system config: OS: Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS OS Type: 64-bit RAM: 3.8 GB Processor: Intel Core i5-2450M CPU @2.50GHz x4 UHD version: 3.15.0.0 GNU Radio version: 3.8.1.0 SDR Device: Ettus USRP N320 My current goal: Build a FM receiver My Antenna Techincal Information is shown below: Manufacturer RF Solutions PART ANT-8WHIP3H-SMA TYPE 90DEG HINGED WHIP FREQUENCY 868MHz CONNECTOR SMA FORM HINGED WHIP DB GAIN +3dBi OP TEMPERATURE -40 to +70oC 1.
I am trying to build a FM receiver on Ettus USRP N320 using GNU radio I followed the FM receiver Tutorial from gnuradio wiki (https://wiki.gnuradio.org/index.php/File:USRP_FM_fg.png),
I could run the fm receiver (grc program)without errors and could also tune the frequencies and other settings, but I could only hear the noisy sound not the FM channel music whatever settings I use. Moreover, I see ‚UaUaUaUaUaUaUa….‘ in the output console
when the FM received signal is strong! What could be the reason I could not hear FM channel? Is there anyone who tested FM receiver on Ettus USRP N320? Is there any example flowgraphs available which I could
download and explore the device’s features? 2.
If the antenna I am using is the problem, Why am I able to listen to FM channels successfully using the same antenna connected with RTL-SDR Dongle operated via SDRSharp? 3.
I could not find grc blocks for OSMOSDR or RTLSDR, where and how can I add those desired grc blocks to my existing GNUradio Companion? Should I only deinstall and
build gnuradio from source for this purpose? Or is there any easy way possible? Looking forward to your kind response
J Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Best regards |
