It was ported to GNU Radio many years ago. The example flow graphs are in:

<install_dir>/share/gnuradio/examples/dtv

dvbt_tx_2k.grc

dvbt_tx_8k.grc

dvbt_rx_8k.grc

Also, take a look at README.dvbt in the same directory.

The transmitter works fine. The receiver has a major flaw in that it can't handle any difference between the sample rate of the receive SDR versus the sample rate of the actual received signal. Unless both transmitter and receiver are GPS locked, the receiver will eventually fail.
