You must get the last gnustep release.
Setup (newly built): gnustep-make-1.8.0 gnustep-base-1.8.0 gnustep-gui-0.9.0 gnustep-back-0.9.0 GWorkspace-0.6.3 I've checked the build output and can't see anything obviously wrong. Is there any possibility there might be a duff nib file in the tar.gz?
