Interesting.
Is there any reason why gworkspace couldn't use these menus, this
specification? At least here is a standard that should exist across all
distros.
A concession is needed: the GNUstep only distro is some time away, and
I'm not moving unless it has an up to date emacs. Perhaps this could be
a compile-time option: app wrappers or .desktop items. Best of both
worlds?
And if the answer is yes, it's feasible, then you can guess my next
question.
