Well, if anyone is interested, I could describe what I tend to find useful
in basic usage of git - generally using it in a non distributed fashion.
A had a quick look to see how hg would compare (since I view it as similar),
and it seems the main thing I make use of that is not exposed by hg is
simply the git index, and the ability to work with a 'dirty' workspace.
