Looks quite similar. The questions are
a) if it is possible to do anything (lawsuit? is the GNUstep logo a registered trade mark?)
I'm not sure that it is. I don't think so, but at the very least the copyright does belong to the FSF. There is certainly no possibility of "brand confusion" since they don't make software. (LOL)
b) if it is wise to do anything (it may be cheap advertisement)
I considered this as well.
c) could the band donate a GNUstep song or special sounds for mutual benefit?
I don't know... I mean what would they do for us if they did? Does anyone think it's wise to let them know at the very least that they are using our logo? I mean I feel like we should be flattered that they liked it enough to make it theirs, but I don't think they even are aware that they are using it as Roger pointed out.
