Maybe this issue has been declared previously but I can't find anything about it :
Let's that you have a customer with an address. You also create a contact for this client. The field address in the contact is empty.
Now you want to create an invoice or a proposition for this client. If you don't attach any contact to the invoice, the adress will appear on the invoice. That's perfect.
Now If you attach the contact to the invoice, the address will be empty on the invoice. It feels weird because even if the contact address is empty, you can still use the customer's adress.
Basically here's the behaviour I'm expecting :
if contact.address id empty
then invoice.address = customer.address

- In Dolibarr 3.4 all information like phone,fax,mail,url can be displayed with the option MAIN_PDF_ADDALSOTARGETDETAILS...
But anyway, I will do it for Adress and country. Because other insformation are not displayed by default, and they are really linked to users or company.

Yes that's idea : if a field is empty for contact, then fallback to the client info.
However I don't think that phone,fax,email,url,country are displayed in the invoice PDF.
This feature is really usefull for us because we have big clients with many contacts, many proposal, and many invoices. Most of the time the contact.address is the customer.address, so we don't want to duplicate the address for each contact. In the meantime, we need to attach a contact to invoices and proposals to keep track of it.
For now, when we attach a contact to a proposal or an invoice, then PDF contains no address.- HENRY Florian 15/03/2013 11:01

Ok, I didn't know that feature was existing in 3.1.
I start to develop it in dev branch.

What do you think about other contact attribute ?

Thanks for taking care of this issue.
I described it as "bug" because the behavior was correct in the version 3.0
AFAIK the regression appeared in the version 3.1
We did not declare this issue at the time because we thought it would be fixed in version 3.2
Anyway I have no problem with calling this a "feature" and wait for 3.4
All I what is to get the old behaviour back, sooner or later ;-)

This cannot be consider as a bug, because there is no errors message, or blocking screen.
It can be consider as new feature (task). Could you create it as Task ?
I will develop it, but it will be integrated only in dev branch (future Dolibarrr 3.4). It must be conditionnal with option in propal/order/invoice administration screen.
