It is our goal to make a language independant system, and I do agree that we 
should use Java for our bytecode if anything.

BTW, I have been in contact with Miguel de Icaza and he has told me that mono 
is most interested in creating a bytecode interpreter, and wanted to mak sure 
that dotgnu and mono were not doing the same thing. I have pointed him in your 
direction since you have a lot of knowlege in that area.
