This has left me in a bit of a quandary. Having done all this
work, I don't want to throw it away. It involves, in addition
to getting rid of crap in the debian/ directory, cleanups to
the .spec files, and fixing of Makefile's.
Rhys tells me you don't put your Debian stuff to CVS, so
it looks like I could commit what I have done without
effecting you. Is that OK?
