[Pnet-developers] Assembly versioning

On the mono-devel list, there has been a discussion about assembly versions. 
Apparently, MS used 2.0.3600.0 and 8.0.3600.0 for the versions prior to .NET 
2.0 beta2, although the numbers occasionally the versions varied. As of 
beta2, MS is using 2.0.0.0 and 8.0.0.0. Mono was using with versions with 
3600, but people were having problems with interoperability. So Mono has 
changed to MS's 2.0.0.0 and 8.0.0.0. I would suggest looking into changing 
this for Pnet.
