[Pnet-developers] Current development status of libjit and the jit coder

Hi,

i want go give you an update on the current development status of libjit and 
the jit coder.

1. libjit

Aleksey (avdicius) finished the development on the new register allocator.

2. jit coder

All System, System.Xml, JScript and Basic tests in pnetlib pass with the jit 
coder and libjit with the new
register allocator enabled.

There are still some issues in the runtime tests for example the handling the 
thread abort exception and
some code generation problems in the coder and libjit. But we are working on 
this.

The next major step will be the pinvoke/marshalling support.

In the meantime you can play snake with the new jitted engine.
