I have merged things into the master branch now and started to make a
few more improvements to the script. It's still a bit slow. But I hope
that replacing some more calls to `grep` with Bash's internal regex
comparison will speed things up again.

If you give the links to those news items you want to add, I can put
them on the News page and also update the Latest News section on the
Home page.
