The upgraded librsync has done the trick nicely.
My only concern is the size of the directory (not the files within it)
that's being created
# ls -ltd
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 401408 Mar 18 16:57 .
and it's growing.
Is there a way of putting files into a number of separate directories,
instead of the single monolithic one?
