[Duplicity-talk] How does duplicity handle user/groups in archive and restore?

With (at least GNU) tar, you have the option of using --numeric-owner
when necessary to make sure that the current system's passwd/groups
file doesn't corrupt your archive during a "restore and re-archive".

How does duplicity handle this sort of thing?
