I'm using duplicity for my backup routine and it generates a bunch of files
that look like this:
duplicity-full.2004-11-20T00:44:35+02:00.vol9.difftar.gz
What I want to do is transfer these by scp to the desktop and burn them on
dvd. Only scp fails because the filenames have non-standard characters in
them (:,+), I get:
./duplicity-full-signatures.2004-11-20T00:44:35+02:00.vol9.difftar.gz: Invalid
argument
There's no way to copy them in konqueror for that matter, same problem there.
How do I get around this peculiar choice of filename? cp doesn't seem to mind
but scp does..
