Hi,

Thanks for reminding me about the missing man page entry.  Will get it
taken care of ASAP.

Duplicity does not replace any of the TMPDIR environment variables, just
uses it internally in the call to tempfile.mkdtemp().  When --tempdir is
not specified the normal TMPDIR and other environment variables are
used, so if you want duplicity and all subtasks to use the same tempdir,
you need to specify the environment variables before calling duplicity.

BTW, took a look at backupninja.  Looks good.
