Good news, somehow. This time the backup ran through without any
problems. I guess it's due to the nature of the special bootstrap
(including lenny /dev and /proc-folders).
I even have problems to get rid of them by hand so I guess this might be
the reason for duplicity to access some of these files.
Sorry for the stress I caused.
