Hi,
I'm getting a weird error that I cannot explain. when I run duplicity
from my backup script, it gives me this message at some point:
Fatal Error: The file specification
"/var/cache/mylvmbackup/mnt/backup/dev/**
cannot match any files in the base directory
/var/cache/mylvmbackup/mnt/backup
Useful file specifications begin with the base directory or some
pattern (such as '**') which matches the base directory.
When I call duplicity directly from the shell, with the very same
arguments, it runs fine. Here's my command:
sudo PASSPHRASE=mypass TMPDIR=/backup/tmp duplicity --archive-dir
/backup --name all --exclude "/var/cache/mylvmbackup/mnt/backup/dev/**"
--exclude "/var/cache/mylvmbackup/mnt/backup/tmp/**" --exclude
"/var/cache/mylvmbackup/mnt/backup/var/run/**" --volsize 250
/var/cache/mylvmbackup/mnt/backup ftp://192.168.1.13/backup-all
What's up here? I can't always open a shell and type in the command to
make a backup, it should really work from a script...
