[Duplicity-talk] GPG Key Storage

Hi,
It's unclear to me what gpg key is used by default to do the encryption. 
Does duplicity generate it's own symetric gpg key? Or does it use one on 
the keychain?

If it uses it's own does it store that key on the destination server?
