Follow-up Comment #2, bug #21683 (project duplicity):
I'm also experiencing this problem on v0.4.11 and v0.5.02.
I actually never had the file in my local --archive-dir (I didn't know about
it until today). I've now created the empty directory on my local system, and
I'd like it to be populated. Unfortunately, the backup fails.
Is there a manual way to populate the directory properly, at least?
